Meet Alix | Founder of Cowgirl Campout

A first-generation horsewoman and wildling at heart, Alix knows what it feels like to be the new girl finding her place in the high country after years of city slicking. 

Drawn to the wild beauty of New Mexico, she arrived searching for her place in a world that didn’t always feel like her own. Riding alongside seasoned wranglers and ranchers taught her that trust is hard earned, mistakes are part of the journey and having the right women in your corner can change everything.

That experience became the heart of Cowgirl Campout: a place for women of all ages and experience levels to trade the familiar for beyond it, learn from one another and discover just how capable they really are.

A multigenerational community built on shared wisdom, dusty boots and good horses that last long after the campfire burns out. 

With 20+ years in film production, creative direction and event management, Alix brings her gift for storytelling and connection to creating experiences that stay with you long after you leave.
